Description
Single Fin, overlooking the Indian Ocean in Uluwatu, is one of Bali’s best-known destinations for music and sunset gatherings. In 2026, Sontastic completed its largest audio installation of the year at the venue, upgrading the sound system for the demands of a busy open-air setting.

The challenge at Single Fin was to deliver powerful, clear and consistent sound across a sprawling, multi-level venue, capable of accommodating thousands of people. Rather than simply increasing volume, the system was designed to distribute sound effectively, maintaining clarity, impact and balanced bass across the different listening areas, even when the venue is packed.
The installation features bi-amplified Lynx Professional Marine Grade HR loudspeakers and subwoofers in custom colours, supported by 70 kW of SONiX amplification. Carefully planned speaker placement, individual system tuning and digital processing provide the coverage and control needed in this complex open-air environment.
